Responsibilities:

  • Senior Data Architecture Experience: 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong track record of designing, reviewing, and redesigning enterprise-scale data architectures and modern data platforms.
  • Architect the Data Ecosystem: Design and scale a unified enterprise data ecosystem, transitioning siloed systems into a modern Microsoft Fabric and Databricks Lakehouse environment supporting analytics, AI/ML, and business-critical reporting.
  • Design Unified Data Models: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models connecting customer, product, operational, and financial data across Salesforce, Sage Intacct, product telemetry, and other enterprise systems.
  • Lead Fabric & Lakehouse Architecture: Define and evolve Microsoft Fabric and Databricks architectures, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold/Medallion layers, scalable ingestion and transformation patterns, security, governance, and Unity Catalog.
  • Drive Data Governance & Quality: Establish data governance, master data management, golden-record standards, data lineage, metadata management, and proactive data-quality frameworks to ensure trusted and consistent enterprise data.
  • Enable Business & Financial Insights: Integrate CRM and ERP data to deliver accurate lead-to-cash visibility, revenue insights, and trusted data products for Sales, Product, Support, and Finance.
  • Modernize Data Engineering & Integration: Develop scalable data integration and migration patterns, including M&A onboarding, APIs, event-driven architecture, real-time pipelines, data-as-code, Git-based version control, and CI/CD for data workflows.
  • Business & Stakeholder Leadership: Translate complex data architecture into clear business outcomes, working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while driving AI/ML readiness, advanced analytics, and long-term data strategy.
