This role will work in a new team delivering the Climate Skills programme. This exciting new programme sits within our Non-Formal Education team and builds on a leading corporate and British Council’s long history of collaboration and delivery of skills programmes for young people at country and regional levels, to create an ambitious new global initiative.
The programme will enable marginalised young people to gain skills to participate effectively in the just transition away from fossil fuels to greener economies. The programme will launch in 2023 in Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, with the UK and other countries piloting work.
The programme will explore cross-disciplinary initiatives over 3 years, engaging with sectors across education, vocational training, and arts.
