Overview

As Bar Manager, you will lead a team and be part of the management group at your Boulebar. The role is primarily service-based, but recruiting and training new talent is also an important part of the position. You ensure that orders run smoothly and that scheduling is on point — all to deliver the best possible experience for our guests!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading a top quality bar service.

  • Supervising multiple bar teams on shift, ensuring staff follow direction.

  • Rotating staff as required during shifts according to customer flow.

  • Monitoring and ordering stock, always ensuring sufficient levels and checking deliveries are correct.

  • Managing HR or performance-based issues, including 121s and disciplinaries.

  • Managing budgets, margins and P&L.

  • Working with other managers for large bookings or venue updates.

  • Delegating tasks and responsibilities to supervisors and team leaders.

  • Assisting with bar service as required by customers levels.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all training is promptly completed and documented.

  • Contribute to and suggest ways of improving company processes.

  • Design and implement new procedures as directed by senior team, including seasonal menu changes.

  • Onboarding and training of newer members of the team.

Qualifications

  • You are a leader who is always eager to learn something new

  • You have strong bar service knowledge and a great interest in cocktails

  • You are responsible, structured, and have strong collaboration skills
