Opened in 2008, our establishment features 47 bedrooms, a 75-seater bistro & bar, and 4 private event spaces seating up to 30. Edinburgh's beauty is staggering, with its diverse skyline, cobbled streets, and colourful history. Once a poorhouse, asylum, and science lab, the building has taken many guises since it was built in 1743 and is bursting with character. It sits just off the bustling Royal Mile in the Old Town, between Edinburgh’s iconic castle and Holyrood Palace.

About the Role

As a Bar and Restaurant Supervisor at Hotel du Vin, you will earn OTE up to £14.40 per hour (inclusive of tronc). This is a permanent, full-time position based in Edinburgh. We are looking for individuals who have high standards and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You will be the face of the restaurant and bar within our hotel, helping to control the flow and communicate with the kitchen and management team to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests.

We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility in shifts and days. Generally, we are busier during evenings and weekends, but shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at the interview.
