I’m currently working with a well-established logistics business that’s looking to add an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing shipments end-to-end while building strong client relationships in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full ocean export process, acting as the main point of contact for customers and ensuring shipments move smoothly from booking through to delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing export shipments from start to finish
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, providing clear and timely updates
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients
- Liaising with customers, customs, and internal teams to ensure all documentation is received on time
- Coordinating with suppliers, forwarders, and overseas agents for accurate shipment updates
- Ensuring customers are fully informed on shipment progress
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records
- Completing export documentation and invoicing within deadlines
