An established and highly respected electronic design and manufacturing firm is looking to appoint a Principal Electronics Engineer to lead the development of innovative, real-world products across Medical Devices, Automation/Industrial and Renewable Energy products. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role in a fast-paced design services environment where you’ll take concepts from early-stage feasibility through to full production.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the design and delivery of advanced electronic systems across a broad range of technically challenging projects. You will:

  • Lead digital and analogue electronic system design
  • Deliver schematic capture, PCB design and simulation
  • Design microcontroller-based systems
  • Support prototype build, verification and transfer to manufacture
  • Engage directly with customers on technical solutions
  • Produce high-quality, client-ready documentation
