Are you commercially minded, confident speaking to clients and interested in the world of tax advisory? This is an opportunity to join a growing national firm in a role that blends business development, client engagement and consultative selling. As a Business Development Executive - Tax Advisory, you'll play a key part in identifying new opportunities, connecting with potential clients and helping the firm grow its tax advisory portfolio.

Working closely with Tax Partners, Advisors and the wider Growth & Sales team, you'll be at the forefront of engaging businesses that need specialist tax support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify potential clients across SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. Use CRM tools, market research, and data to target organisations with complex or emerging tax needs (e.g., R&D, VAT, restructuring).
  • Booking Meetings for Partners: Create strong pipelines of potential clients and arrange high-quality meetings for Tax Partners and senior specialists.
  • Client Engagement: Make first contact via phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking events. Understand client challenges across tax compliance, planning, efficiency, and disputes.
  • Consultative Sales: Present tailored tax solutions aligned to client needs from corporate tax planning to IHT strategies and international tax structuring. Work with tax experts to prepare compelling proposals, scoping documents, and pricing models.
  • Pipeline & CRM Management: Keep accurate records of every interaction, opportunity and prospect stage. Track performance against KPIs including meetings booked, proposals delivered, and conversion ratios.
  • Collaboration: Partner with tax advisors, Partners, and marketing teams to refine service messaging and market positioning. Share insights from the market to help shape strategy and future offerings.
