We are looking at onboarding Business Development Managers who have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and a very good understanding of the retail industry. The candidate should have a good understanding of the customer’s needs and pitch the retail opportunities with Enterprise Retail POS Software. He/She should be capable of identifying the Enterprise retailers and pitching them about the product in the assigned territory and close the complete Sales Cycle from lead generation to final negotiation with customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To sell the cutting-edge Enterprise Retail POS Software to the enterprise retailers.
- Experience in the retail industry and thorough understanding of the retail domain.
- Actively hunt for new opportunities in the assigned territories.
- Actively participate in sales calls and presentations; identify goals, evaluate account needs, and close the deals.
- Ability to achieve the complete sales cycle from lead generation, proposal preparation to final negotiation with clients.
- Excellent listening, verbal, written and research skills.
- Quick learner, highly inquisitive and ambitious.
- Ability to understand and successfully promote solution offerings.
- Organized, with strong prioritization skills for follow-ups.
- Effectively build relationships with CXO level executives.
- The ability to deliver engaging presentations and communicate technical information.

Required Skills / Abilities:
- Working as a BDM in any organization (Enterprise/Retail Sales/E-commerce) or freshers.
- Exceptional analytical and documentation skills.
- Experience in gathering sales through proper identification of new business opportunities.
- Proficient in creating product documentation through PowerPoint presentations.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sales (POS) and Retail Analytics, along with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) will be an added advantage.
Education and Experience:
- MBA from premier B-Schools.
