This is a mid-level position in the sales function. It is an individual contributor role where the person is responsible for generating new business opportunities from the European market in the banking verticals for the purpose of sales.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Management and/or engineering graduate from an institute of repute with 10 to 12 years of experience in selling software products and solutions.
  • Experience in the European region will be an added advantage.
  • Must have experience in selling to C-level in the banking and enterprise sector.

  • Passionate about sales with a burning desire to achieve results.
  • Self-motivated and go-getter personnel who can drive sales independently.
  • A good understanding of the European market with strong experience in selling high ticket value-based solutions.
  • Social person with good PR skills and strong relationships in the banking sector in Europe.
  • Experience in selling software products/solutions in the banking and enterprise sector.
  • Ability to forecast future sales trends and devise future sales strategies.
  • Ability to connect with desired stakeholders and map key decision makers and influencers at CXO levels.
  • Working with large SIs/partners on large and complex deals.
  • Driving common interest with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conceptualise solutions and articulate them with prospects to develop business opportunities and sales.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent business acumen and command of spoken and written English.
  • Should be open to travel as the role requires travelling for sales closures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads, build pipeline, convert pipeline to sales numbers.
  • Develop and grow the banking and financial sector business for products and solutions.
  • Instrumental in screening prospective clients and converting qualifying opportunities, account mapping.
  • Meet quarterly and annual targets for sales.
  • Work closely with pre-sales and delivery to have the winning proposal to win the deals.
  • Strategise the winning approach for the opportunities and accounts.
  • Proactively scan the market, do research, connect with marketing, and cold call to generate leads.
  • Manage customer accounts and build a strong and healthy relationship with them.
  • Competition analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and achieving market share metrics.
  • Establishing a cordial relationship with clients to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and repeat business.
