West One Technology are looking for a practical and hardworking person to assist the surface finishing department with the preparation of phone chassis, before and after the anodising process.
Duties will include:
- Smoothing and sanding imperfections on chassis
- Sandblasting and polishing
- Testing materials
- Washing chemicals off chassis
Skills required:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Listening skills and the ability to take directions/instructions well
It would be an advantage if you have had experience in:
- Using solutions
- Working with chemicals such as sulphuric, nitric and caustic solutions
- Anodising
- Metal Polishing
- Using CNC machine
The ideal candidate should have some experience in quality control and warehousing. PPE is also required when working in this position, which shall be issued by the Company. This role would ideally suit someone who is comfortable with monotonous work.
This is a full time position working from 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, £8.21 per hour. This is a temp to perm position. A permanent contract will be issued to successful candidates within 4 to 6 weeks following training.
