Maintenance Electrician
Permanent Full Time
Maryport/Carlisle/Penrith/Newcastle and surrounding
Salary £36,814 plus Vehicle, Travel Paid door to door and Package
We are working with a highly reputable and well known facilities management contractor who provide all round building maintenance to services to clients throughout the UK.
Due to continued expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician
Role:
The successful candidate will work within a sensitive heritage environment comprising Grade I and II* listed properties. The building fabric integrates a complex mix of modern safety systems, specialised containment, and fragile legacy infrastructure.
- You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical maintenance works to a historic buildings throughout Maryport and surrounding to Newcastle and surrounding regions
- Role will include all elements of electrical ppm and reactive maintenance works, alterations etc as well as some general building maintenance repairs
- You will be working mobile throughout the areas above.
- Providing excellent customer service when on site.
Person:
- You will be qualified electrically and must hold Electrical Level 3 or equivalent, 17th or 18th edition
- You will have electrical maintenance experience on commercial sites and ideally ahev experience on historic buildings - ppm and reactive repairs.
- You will live locally and happy with travel throughout the region and further when needed
- Engineers must be fully prepared to encounter and work alongside the following specialised systems and equipment: Mineral Insulated Copper Clad (MICC / Pyro) Cabling: Extensively utilized throughout the property for fire-resistant sub-mains and critical circuits.
- You must have a full uk driving licence
- Good IT skills
