We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of sprinkler systems across a range of main contract projects.

You will be responsible for producing compliant sprinkler designs, coordinating with clients and contractors, preparing hydraulic calculations, and supporting projects through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design sprinkler systems in accordance with LPCB, BS EN 12845, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate designs with clients, consultants, contractors, and other trades.
  • Produce working drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material schedules.
  • Attend site and design meetings as required.
  • Support procurement activities and manage design documentation.
  • Issue completion documentation and certification.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme requirements and industry standards.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a sprinkler design engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of LPC BS EN 12845 and Factory Mutual standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software.
  • Ability to produce detailed sprinkler designs and calculations.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
  • LPCB Intermediate and Full Hydraulic Calculation qualifications.
  • Revit 3D experience.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards.
  • HND or Degree in an Engineering or Construction-related discipline.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
