What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the mechanical services design on large projects and take the reins on smaller ones, ensuring top-notch results and happy clients.
- Deliver expert technical advice to clients, develop and produce innovative mechanical designs, and contribute to feasibility studies and technical due diligence reports.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and top-tier results.
- Conduct site inspections, commissioning witnessing, and condition surveys to ensure buildings are performing at their best.
- Develop and mentor junior team members, and provide guidance on design, technical, and quality standards.
- Enjoy a wide range of projects, from UK-based to international, and experience the thrill of working on complex and innovative schemes.
What We're Looking For:
- Top-notch technical knowledge in Mechanical Design Engineering and a solid understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design.
- Experience in undertaking MEP building services surveys, peer reviewing, and delivering parallel projects with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A passion for delivering high-quality work, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting the development of others.
- Autonomy, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
- Previous consultancy experience and a strong appreciation for complementary specialisms (acoustics, fire engineering, computer modeling, etc.).
- A Chartered Engineer (or close to) with a keen eye for quality and a passion for innovative solutions.
