We are working with a fast-growing B2B SaaS business operating at the intersection of energy markets and data intelligence. The platform serves thousands of energy professionals each week, enabling organisations to calculate, forecast, and make critical strategic decisions across power, commodities, and the energy transition. This is a business where ambition gets backed by real investment, ideas move quickly from whiteboard to product, and people are given the room and responsibility to grow. The team is international, deeply expert, and genuinely collaborative. The business is scaling fast, investing heavily in AI, and trusted by some of the most influential energy sector participants in the world.
This is a high-ownership, hands-on product role at the centre of the platform that thousands of energy professionals use every week. You will drive the roadmap and shape the experience through which users access data, forecasts, calculations, and research, making it smarter, faster, and more valuable with every release. You will be a core contributor to the product leadership team, working closely with design, engineering, and commercial stakeholders to translate user and business needs into a product that genuinely moves the needle. You will have real influence over what gets built and why. You will partner closely with the AI Product Manager to identify and deliver AI-powered features that improve the user experience in meaningful ways. You will also be expected to use agentic AI tools actively in your own work, finding smarter ways to research, prototype, and prioritise. This is a role for someone with strong product instincts, a genuine comfort with data and numbers, and the drive to step into a bigger leadership role over time. If you have worked on a data or intelligence product and want more ownership and scope, this is the right next move.
As the Senior Product Lead, you'll be responsible for:
- Owning the platform roadmap, from discovery through to delivery and iteration
- Defining and improving how users navigate, calculate, and consume data, forecasts, and research through a seamless, high-quality product experience
- Contributing to the development of shared platform capabilities including dashboarding, data visualisation, and reusable product surfaces
- Partnering closely with design and UX to create clear, elegant user journeys that make complex data feel accessible
- Working with the AI Product Manager to identify, spec, and deliver AI-powered workflows that create measurable user value
- Building deep user understanding through usage analytics, qualitative research, and regular customer engagement
- Driving cross-functional delivery with engineering, design, data, and commercial teams
- Supporting commercial outcomes through stronger engagement, product adoption, and reduced churn
We're looking for a Product Lead who has operated end to end, who brings experience working on Data and Intelligence Platforms. You will be:
- 5+ years in product management with a strong track record in B2B SaaS
- Proven experience working on platform, data, or intelligence products where users engage with complex information, calculations, or quantitative outputs
- Comfortable in data-heavy environments: you understand how professionals work with numbers, models, and structured data, and you design around that
- Strong UX instinct and a high bar for clarity, usability, and detail
- Excellent discovery and research skills, combining qualitative insight with quantitative data
- Ability to lead cross-functional work and influence across product, design, engineering, and commercial teams without direct authority
- AI-native: you use agentic AI tools day-to-day to automate, prototype, and accelerate your own output
- Comfortable with ambiguity, and able to turn broad goals into clear, well-scoped execution
- Commercially minded and outcomes-focused
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in energy markets, financial data, legal data, commodities trading, or adjacent sectors
- Background in analytics platforms, market intelligence tools, or forecasting products
- Experience building or shipping AI-powered features within a user-facing product
- Familiarity with scenario modelling, calculation engines, or decision-support tools
Package and Benefits for the role:
- Competitive base salary (£81,500 - 92,000)
- Private Medical and Dental Insurance
- Salary-exchange pension
- Parental support and Employee Assistance Programme
- Hybrid working with flexible hours
- A fast-moving, internationally active team working on some of the most consequential decisions in the global energy sector
