A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Technology Consultant to join an incredibly exciting, innovative technology company based in the Greater Cambridge area. Working within a growing technical deployment team, you will support customers with the rollout and implementation of advanced technology solutions across a wide range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a very bright graduate who enjoys technology, problem-solving and working directly with customers, while gaining exposure to cutting-edge products and real-world deployments from day one.
Location: Saffron Walden, Essex / Greater Cambridge area, with travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally where required.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications + benefits.
Requirements for Graduate Technology Consultant:- We are particularly interested in candidates from broad STEM or applied science backgrounds - for example, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology, or similar.
- This role is best suited to graduates who can communicate clearly and confidently with customers, without leading conversations into unnecessary technical complexity.
- This company values a top academic background, so you should have achieved a minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM or applied science subject such as Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Economics or Psychology.
- Achieved at least AAA at A Level or equivalent UCAS points.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with external customers and stakeholders - able to explain concepts clearly without resorting to technical jargon, particularly when forming new relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
- Must be eligible to qualify for UK security clearance due to the nature of some customer projects.
- Support customer deployments from initial planning through to rollout and post-deployment support.
- Understand customer requirements and advise on deployment strategies and use cases.
- Deliver product training and technical guidance to customers in a clear, accessible way.
- Build strong customer relationships from the outset, leading with clarity and confidence rather than technical detail.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Work across multiple concurrent customer projects.
- Collaborate closely with internal technical and product teams.
- Learn new technologies and systems to support a broad range of customer environments.
- Travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally where required.
