Shape the future of programmatic. Drive growth with intelligence.

As Director, Advertiser Solutions, Activate, you’ll help shape how leading brands and independent agencies in the UK approach programmatic buying. You’ll play a central role in accelerating Activate’s growth, building senior partnerships, unlocking new revenue and positioning PubMatic as a strategic force in the market. With AI driven innovation at the heart of our platform, you’ll help clients unlock smarter, more transparent and more effective ways to drive performance. This is a role for someone who enjoys building, not maintaining. You’ll lead high value commercial conversations, challenge conventional thinking and collaborate with experts across Product, Solutions and Client teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients. We’re looking for curiosity, commercial instinct and a collaborative mindset. If you’re motivated by ownership, growth and shaping what comes next, you’ll find both the platform and the support to do it here.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive and execute the UK Activate sales strategy across a defined portfolio of advertisers and independent agencies.
  • Win and onboard new clients, generating sustainable and profitable revenue aligned with PubMatic’s strategic and yield objectives.
  • Build trusted, senior-level relationships with brands and agency decision-makers, positioning PubMatic as a long-term strategic partner.
  • Develop creative, commercially compelling solutions that translate complex programmatic capabilities into clear business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Client Solutions, Solutions Engineering and Product teams to deliver seamless activation and innovation.
  • Empower and enable generalist sellers to confidently represent Activate, strengthening team capability and autonomy.
  • Represent PubMatic at industry events, contributing thought leadership and expanding market presence.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant experience (7+ years) in sales or business development within advertising technology, ideally at a DSP or advanced buying platform.
  • A strong understanding of programmatic buying, real-time bidding and the demand-side ecosystem.
  • Established senior relationships across advertisers and independent agencies in the UK.
  • A track record of winning new business and translating opportunity into long-term client partnerships.
  • Confidence presenting to and influencing C-level stakeholders, underpinned by emotional intelligence and strong communication skills.
  • Technical fluency and a genuine interest in how AI and emerging technologies are shaping the future of programmatic advertising.
  • A growth mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, energised by change and motivated to learn in a fast-evolving environment.

At PubMatic, we value diverse perspectives, collaborative thinking and people who are excited to build what’s next. If this role speaks to your experience, even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply.
