Responsibilities include:
- Preparing Sales Invoices: Accurately generating sales invoices to ensure timely and precise billing.
- Reconciling Sales Ledger: Managing and maintaining our sales ledger records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Credit Control: Assisting in credit control activities as needed to manage outstanding accounts.
- Posting Journals: Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate journals.
- Petty Cash Management: Taking ownership of petty cash and ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Assisting with Payroll: Providing support in payroll tasks as required.
- Weekly Job Costing Reports: Collaborating with the Management Team to prepare job costing reports on a weekly basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Desired:
- Previous Financial Office Experience: A background in financial administration or similar roles.
- Sage-200 Knowledge (Advantageous)
- Organized Attitude: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize your workload effectively.
- Accurate Numeracy and Typing Skills: A keen eye for detail and precise numerical and typing abilities.
- Proficiency with Software: A strong command of Outlook, Word, and Excel for efficient task execution.
- Proactive Nature: A resourceful approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to take initiative.
- Deadline Orientation: The capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines when resolving queries.
