ROLE - Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with both electrical and mechanical components
- Developing CNC programs for a range of machines
- Creating 3D models and technical drawings
- Conducting testing throughout the design and manufacturing process
- Participating in design meetings and reviews during projects
- Interacting with customers and ensuring their requirements are met
- Visiting customers and presenting design proposals
- Coordinating with the purchasing and accounting departments to ensure necessary inventory is on-site
- Enhancing the production efficiency of existing components
- Collaborating across various departments during busy periods and covering holidays and absences
ROLE - Desirables include:
- Proficiency in software including Ansys (CAD), Autodesk Fusion 360 (CAM/CNC), Metallix (CAD/CNC), Sage 50, and Cloud-Based CRM
- Hands-on experience with machines such as the Amada Press Brake, Heager - Insertion Press, Tinius Olsen - Pull Tester, and various Power Press Machines
- Ability to develop and modify engineering drawings
- Experience with creating BOMs
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Familiarity with machine maintenance would be advantageous
- Experience in developing continuous improvement strategies
- Experience using either Haas VF4 SS machinery or Boschert
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 830-1700 / Friday 830-1600
