NLG Health are currently looking for experienced Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist for a Hospital/Community setting in Cambridgeshire to cover an ongoing booking.

Main Responsibilities
The post holder will provide specialist clinical input within special schools in Cambridgeshire. Working as part of the special needs team, they will provide speech and language therapy support to children with a wide range of SLC needs. They will provide assessments, advice and training to enable parents and other professionals to support children’s language and communication needs.
Requirements
You will be a Speech & Language Therapist, registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), dysphagia competencies are highly desirable for this post but not essential. You must be confident with busy caseloads and be able to manage time effectively and comply with CQC regulation requirements. It is essential that you work within codes of practice and professional guidelines and be able to communicate health issues effectively and courageously.
You must currently be living in the UK, have effective communication skills, excellent attendance record as well as the ability to work under pressure. Additionally, it is essential that you have a minimum of 18 months previous experience working with school age children and children with complex needs.
