Architectural Visualiser / CGI Artist
£27,000 - £40,000 based on experience
Due to ongoing success and new business wins, our client is looking for an experienced Architectural CGI Visualiser to join their talented team of artists. The ideal candidate for this role will already have a comprehensive background in illustrating for the purposes of UK architecture CGI. Note: this is an office-based role, so no remote working or freelance requirement for this role.
Your skills and experience will probably be from a CGI or Animation agency or an Architectural practice or similar architectural specialist sector. You will be required to produce extremely detailed, professional and often almost photo-realistic visuals and renders for the purpose of visualising architectural projects, so your folio and work examples will need to be of a high commercial standard and relate to UK property and architecture.
You must have an excellent knowledge of industry software such as 3DS Max and VRAY, whilst also holding skills in other supporting creative software packages such as Photoshop, which is extremely important. If you have any experience in Virtual Reality and/or Augmented Reality, that too could be of interest, although not a prerequisite for this role.
This is a rare opportunity for a creative, open-minded individual that is able to hit the ground running in a close-knit, creatively driven architectural team. Due to the nature of this role, you must be self-sufficient and able to hit the ground running straight away.
A few must haves:
- The ability to work autonomously is required
- Knowledgeable in current industry packages
- Degree Educated or a master of architectural illustration
- A first-class knowledge of UK architecture and scenery
- Ability to create bespoke assets for use in your projects
Are you right for the role? If you have a 3D Visualisation background gained within an architectural practice or studio or similarly orientated environment and you have creative flair, enthusiasm, and a folio of related images that show this, then you’re already halfway there. Get in touch immediately and send your CV and any work samples or a link to them.
Please make sure you let us know your willingness to relocate if you’re not in the area. We also need to know a number of other things, so going directly to the Madd Recruitment website to register is best as this will be required anyway.
In addition, please ensure your CV is a word document with no pictures and text boxes, as this helps process your application faster, improving your chances of being considered for the desired position. Alternatively, where a PDF CV is being submitted, please ensure text is selectable and your document 'has not' been flattened or made as an image; text will not be selectable, and your application will not be processed.
In addition, many ideal applicants may not be located near to the job but would like to be considered. This is an office-based role and relocation may be the only way you'll be considered for this role, please let us know if you are happy to relocate.
