This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a growing family run firm in the Suffolk area.
This role is suited to someone already working within the construction, engineering or a fire safety orientated business. You will need comprehensive skills in working surface area, so good competency in Maths is required.
You’ll require a good level of education, preferably to A-Level standard – as above Maths is particularly important. A good level of physical fitness is also necessary as there is heavy lifting of equipment to perform the role. You will have the ability to read construction drawings as the working of the surface area of interiors is required.
This role requires a good level of computer proficiency and an aptitude for using and understanding software for the purpose of performing your role; training is given during your induction. If you have all of the above and hold a current clean UK driving license, you should be a good fit. The client is happy to enrol those who have everything other than a CSCS card on to a course to attain one. Of course, if you already hold one that’s fantastic.
You’ll need to be a self-starter, happy to work overtime, and have a very good level of communication skills as this is a client facing role at times. Time management skills are incredibly important for this role in order to manage what can be a busy schedule.
The role involves performing pressure tests on commercial, newly built or renovated property. Training will be given to the right fit candidate.
A suitable level of education is a standard requirement for this role; however, if you believe this is a role you can already perform or have an understanding of, then please apply anyway. In order to perform your role, a company vehicle and mobile phone is provided. This position pays up to 22K basic and a fantastic Overtime and Bonus scheme is included which will elevate your annual income around 30K.
