Our client is a highly respected practice firm, and this position will be based in the Belfast office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career, taking more ownership and responsibility, working closely with the Senior management team.
About the job:
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Complete corporate and personal tax computations and returns as required.
- Support a range of advisory assignments, including business transactions, financial due diligence, corporate finance projects and other client engagements.
- Coach, mentor and review the work of junior team members, providing guidance to support their development.
- Assist with planning, prioritising and managing workflow to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering a high standard of service.
About you:
- ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Minimum of 1 year Post qualified in an accountancy practice.
- Prior experience in Audit would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud-based accountancy software.
- Proficient in relevant IT systems including Microsoft Excel and Word.
