About the Company: HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with a long-established Northern Ireland Practice to recruit an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys a split between audit and accounts, and is seeking an opportunity to work with a varied client portfolio.
About the role:
- Managing a portfolio of accounts and audit clients
- Preparing and reviewing accounts
- Leading and delivering statutory audits from planning through to completion
- Preparing management accounts and financial statements
- Supporting clients with accounting and technical queries
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Developing junior staff
- Working closely with Senior Managers and Partners on more complex assignments
About you:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Accounts preparation experience
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks (FRS 102, IFRS advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience using audit software
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise workload, and work effectively as part of a team
