Overview
Associate-level Building Surveyor within a commercial consultancy environment. Delivery across both project and professional instructions with flexibility to shape service line bias. Exposure to commercial assets across refurbishment and advisory workstreams. Hybrid working model. Permanent appointment within an expanding regional team.
Salary & Package
- Β£60,000 β Β£70,000 base salary

The Role
- Lead instruction delivery across project and professional service lines
- Manage technical due diligence on commercial property acquisitions
- Deliver contract administration across refurbishment and upgrade schemes
- Control project programmes, costs and reporting to client stakeholders
- Advise on dilapidations for landlord and tenant positions
- Prepare and implement planned preventative maintenance strategies
- Undertake party wall matters and statutory compliance advisory
- Deliver project monitoring instructions for funders and investors
- Complete reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes
- Prepare and review licences for alterations documentation
- Maintain direct client relationships across investor and occupier profiles
- Contribute to fee generation and support pipeline conversion
- Provide oversight to junior surveyors where required

Multi-disciplinary commercial property consultancy operating across UK and international markets. Client base includes investors, funds and corporate occupiers. Service lines cover building consultancy, project delivery and professional advisory. Ongoing regional growth is driving the need to strengthen senior delivery capability within the Manchester office.
Candidate Requirements
- RICS accredited degree
- MRICS Chartered status
- Experience delivering both project and professional instructions
- Commercial property sector exposure
- Proven client-facing delivery at instruction level
- Ability to manage multiple commissions with commercial accountability
