A London Market Specialty Insurer is looking for an Integration Architect to uphold the principles, directions, and standards for the integration framework at the programme/project level.

As Integration Architect, you will define the integration architectures, high-level designs and oversee the implementation of these architectures to ensure they reduce risk and deliver fit-for-purpose business services and systems, on time and within budget. You will define the specific integration services in support of the overall solution architecture in line with defined architecture principles and roadmaps. The role will also ensure that the integration solution set is flexible enough to support incremental development, on-going maintenance and future enhancements of the system. Finally, you will manage and coordinate the Partner Systems Integration development resources and work effectively with multi-discipline teams to deliver projects.

Responsibilities

  • Define the architectures and high-level designs for integration services and oversee the implementation of these architectures.
  • Assure the integration solution designs support specific business requirements and cross-functional business needs.
  • Ensure that Integration techniques and services are applied appropriately and pragmatically.
  • Oversee integration service development and support. Manage and coordinate the activities of the Partner Integration service development and support resources.
  • Advise on best practice Integration Architecture practices to achieve high business experience/satisfaction. Act as an integration champion and challenge solution decisions where necessary.
  • Data integration and workflow design. Design and coordinate development of internally required APIs & web services.
  • Co-ordinate integration architectures and high-level designs in conjunction with external partners, Operations, other CTG teams, Project Management and business representatives.
  • Assist CTG projects within an integration architecture and design capacity, taking responsibility for actions, risks and issues to ensure timely completion/resolution of tasks assigned.
  • Attend Project team meetings and feedback on architecture and design progress, product updates and road maps.
  • Assist Sourcing Performance Management to ensure SI Partners / Vendors deliver on SLAs and track progress on open requests for information and enhancements.

Essential Experience

  • Lloyd's of London Insurance domain experience.
  • At least 10 years in I.T. in various roles including application & Integration architecture & design roles.
  • Strategic focus: Aligns and integrates the strategic priorities of CTG with the direction and strategic priorities of the broader organisation.
  • Experience of current architectural trends e.g. SOA, cloud, digital, RPA.
  • Service Orientated Architecture.
  • Integration Architecture.
  • Biztalk ESB.
  • Integration Service Design.
  • Web Services (SOAP, REST, JSON).
  • Experience of leading Integration & RPA technologies.
  • Experience of working with and managing SI Partners.
