This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, award-winning Microsoft Partner with a strong reputation as a best place to work. A growing Microsoft Partner is seeking an experienced D365 BC Consultant to join their success-driven team. This is a customer-facing consulting role that spans the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects. You’ll be responsible for scoping, designing, and implementing Business Central solutions from a functional perspective, while also supporting and maintaining existing NAV/BC environments and third-party integrations. Success in this role means being equally comfortable delivering solutions onsite and remotely, guiding clients through transformation projects, and ensuring their systems run smoothly long after go-live.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with clients to analyse business requirements and design tailored Business Central solutions
- Lead full-cycle implementations: requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, testing, training, and go-live support
- Configure and test Business Central modules (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Projects, Manufacturing, etc.) to meet client needs
- Deliver engaging training sessions to empower users and maximise adoption
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support and system maintenance
- Collaborate with project managers to keep scope, timelines, and budgets on track
- Work with developers to design and implement customisations, integrations, and extensions
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure system integrity and data accuracy
- Act as the trusted advisor and main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
- Stay current on new Business Central features, industry trends, and best practices, sharing insights with the consulting team
What You’ll Bring
- MB-800 certification
- Hands-on experience implementing, customising, and supporting Business Central and NAV
- Strong knowledge of configuration, setup, and deployment across multiple industries
- Experience working within a Microsoft Partner environment
- Familiarity with ISV solutions such as Jet Reports, Pryme (Progressus), Insight Works, Tasklet Factory, and Continia
- Proficiency in integrating Business Central with Microsoft products (Power BI, Azure, Office 365)
- Experience with data migration tools like RapidStart
- SQL Server skills (installation, configuration, maintenance)
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes in relation to BC implementations
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and client satisfaction
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (occasional travel required)
