Your Role

Due to increased workload in the UK and Europe, Gensler’s Birmingham Studio is seeking a Technologist to join our team. You will be a Revit genius who will be responsible for initiating the technical solutions to best meet the client and design briefs. You will be experienced in handling the technical process, with excellent communication and team relationship skills, and the ability to understand and interpret client, designer and contractor’s needs and requirements. As a Technologist, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design unique professional environments, providing technical support for completion and execution of projects, working on all project stages. Work with our wider offices and consultancy team to develop innovative technical design solutions.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or equivalent, with demonstrable experience in design, detailing and/or construction practice.
  • Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of industrial architecture projects is essential, experience in data centre design and delivery an advantage.
  • You will have extensive knowledge of construction techniques and be capable of working across multiple projects.
  • Team player with leadership skills with a flexible and open attitude.
  • The ability to support a team with good collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
