Working Hours: Monday – Sunday shifts between 08:00 – 20:00

Pay Rate: £30.00 - £35.00 P/H

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing compassionate patient care.
  • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Performing and monitoring imaging procedures.
  • Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols.
  • Supervising other technologists and support staff.
  • Conducting quality control on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Participating in continuing education to stay updated with advancements in the field.
  • Responding to emergencies and providing lifesaving first aid when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography.
  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification in Nuclear Medicine (NHS or private setting).
  • Proficient with gamma cameras, PET-CT scanners, and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance.
  • Ability to administer radiopharmaceuticals and conduct diagnostic procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise junior staff when required.
