About the client: Our client is a leading building services provider, offering specialist HVAC and Mechanical and Electrical turnkey services to a wide range of clients in Liverpool and beyond. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team.
Electrical Estimator – Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting accurate and competitive electrical estimates for a variety of projects, from small refurbishments to large-scale new builds
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to determine project scope and requirements
- Conducting site visits to assess project feasibility, identify potential issues, and gather information for cost estimation
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and resolve any issues
- Collaborating with other members of the estimating team to ensure consistency and accuracy in estimates
- Keeping up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure the company's competitiveness in the market
Electrical Estimator – You:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical estimating within the building services sector
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and associated equipment
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
