Location: Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth

Hours: 14 hours per week

Contract: Fixed Term until 31/07/2027 (Term Time Only – 38 weeks)

Salary: Band E – Β£25,168.50 – Β£25,490.00 (Full Time Equivalent)

The SEND Team here at East Coast College are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join them in providing invaluable support to both students and staff, and optimise engagement, progression, and achievement across our Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses.

Key Requirements
  • Experience working with a wide range of learning and/or physical needs (SEND)
  • Support learning in classroom, workshop, work experience, trips, and visits
  • Flexibility to work across campuses
  • Professional development qualifications: First Aid, Manual Handling, SALT
  • Commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding procedures
  • Minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and ability to evidence this
