Civil Estimator / Buyer – Renewables

Salary: £35,000 - £70,000 per year (OTE)

Role
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Civil Estimator / Buyer to join their growing team within the renewable energy sector.
This is a great opportunity to work on exciting renewable energy projects, supporting both the estimating and buying functions while working closely with commercial and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing cost estimates for civil engineering works.
• Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Purchasing materials and services for projects.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Supporting project teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost- effectively.
• Assisting with commercial and procurement activities across multiple projects.
Requirements
• Previous experience in civil estimating and/or buying.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a proactive and detail-oriented manner.
• Experience within renewables, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is desirable.
