General Workshop Operative
Salary: £ 25,000 - £ 28,000 annually
Location: Stroud
Permanent position
Role outline:
Working alongside the Workshop Manager / Supervisor to provide support and follow
instructions on project activities.

Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- General fabrication operations including:
• Cutting materials
• Drilling
• Plasma operation
• Weld prepping
• Fettling
• Deburring
• De-spattering
• Weld cleaning
• Hole punching
- Assist in Material identification and labelling.
- Assist in final packing and despatch.
- And any other duties required at that time.
- Report to supervisor and site Manager.
Requirements:
- Possess GCSE’s or an equivalent standard in English and Maths.
- Relevant experience with engineering environment (preferred but not essential) -
Forklift License Desired (Training given).
