Role outline: Working alongside the Workshop Manager / Supervisor to provide support and follow instructions on project activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • General fabrication operations including:
    • Cutting materials
    • Drilling
    • Plasma operation
    • Weld prepping
    • Fettling
    • Deburring
    • De-spattering
    • Weld cleaning
    • Hole punching
  • Assist in Material identification and labelling.
  • Assist in final packing and despatch.
  • And any other duties required at that time.
  • Report to supervisor and site Manager.

Requirements:

  • Possess GCSE’s or an equivalent standard in English and Maths.
  • Relevant experience with engineering environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Forklift License Desired (Training given).
