We are seeking a Junior manual QA tester to join our team. As we revolutionise the software spend industry, we need someone to help ensure our product enhancements are shipped on time and meet the highest standards. You'll be working in our London office as the trusted adviser to our product changes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing team.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Execute manual tests on software applications to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-organised test plans, test cases and test results.
  • Identify, record, document, and track any issues and improvements.
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely to developers and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand product changes and new features.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not adversely affected by new changes.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with familiarity in manual testing who is dedicated to ensuring product quality through rigorous, detail-oriented testing processes. Alternatively, you may have experience at another SaaS company in a customer-facing role that requires you to work through some of their technical challenges or problem solve. Ideally, you recognise the importance of pushing the boundaries of traditional manual testing and maximising curiosity.

Your skills:

  • You can confidently communicate both verbally and in writing in English, effectively reporting findings and collaborating with team members.

Core behaviours we’re looking for:

  • Willingness to develop your analytical thinking to understand complex systems and identify potential areas of risk.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Openness to receiving feedback and implementing improvements.

The role requires the following skills, however if you don’t tick all the boxes that’s fine too - we can help you get there:

  • Knowledge of basic testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work with databases and execute simple SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with task tracking software.
  • Exposure to automation tools (preferred but not required; willingness to learn is crucial).

Your Approach:

You’re a creative problem-solver who can come up with solutions that work for everyone. You take ownership of your tasks and know when and how to ask questions. You’re organised and know how to do your research when needed.

Benefits:

Your growth, wellness, and day-to-day experience matter to us. Here is how we set you up for success:

  • A starting salary of £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience).
  • Access to a Private Medical Insurance plan and a corporate ClassPass account.
  • A fully equipped gym within the office, as well as access to all gyms across the Fora office network.
  • A £500 annual training budget to support your ongoing learning and development.
  • A vibrant office space featuring outdoor terraces, showers, and secure bike storage.
  • For the first 2 weeks you will be expected in the office 5 days a week for training and learning. After training, the team currently meets up 2 days per week (Mondays and Thursdays) in the office, to foster collaboration and team culture.
  • Working hours are 09:00 - 18:00.
  • We will provide the tools you need to succeed in the role. Currently we use Apple Macbooks.
  • Regular social outings, team lunches, and complimentary fruit, snacks, tea and coffee.
  • Location: London, UK. You must be able to commute to our office at least 2 days per week.

Ready to Join Us? We would love to hear from you! Even if you don’t tick every box, we encourage you to apply; we value potential and diverse perspectives just as much as experience.
