About you…. Working at the centre of all change initiatives across Buzz Bingo, you will:

  • Be excellent with data and information – gathering, interpreting and manipulating data in order to provide meaningful information will be at the heart of what you do.
  • Provide appropriate challenge to project members, ensuring that progress is tracked and reported accurately.
  • Be a natural facilitator, not afraid to jump in if there is a problem or tension that needs to be resolved.
  • Be happy working across a broad spectrum of projects, whilst adept at driving into the detail of a specific initiative if required.
  • Thrive on uncertainty. Projects are naturally volatile, and you will be comfortable in a changing environment.
  • Help projects progress by “oiling and gluing” – providing support and bringing projects together where needed, for example by identifying interdependencies.
  • Be comfortable proactively engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Have 5+ years relevant PMO / project experience.

Where does your role fit in? The role fits within the Corporate PMO function, which is responsible for governing the change initiatives across Buzz Bingo. You will therefore interact with stakeholders across the organization and will support the successful implementation of change to drive real benefit into Buzz.

As PMO Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Working with Project Managers and other stakeholders to collate, interpret, challenge and present information related to the progress of projects.
  • Ensuring appropriate controls and standards are adhered to across Buzz projects – for example, Project Plans, RAID Logs, Status Reports etc.
  • Maintaining any cross-cutting, portfolio related content – for example, interdependency logs and resource plans.
  • Supporting the PMO manager in preparing for Steering and Board meetings, ensuring appropriate content and materials are made available for these meetings.
  • Supporting the Finance team in forecasting and tracking of spend.
  • Overseeing an appropriate library of materials to be provided by projects as they progress from initiation to closure.
  • Improving project management maturity and disciplines across the organisation.
  • Providing ad-hoc support as required to the PMO Manager and Project Managers.

You will be successful in this role if you:

  • Build professional relationships with project teams, based on trust.
  • Support, and challenge, project teams in the governance and delivery of their projects.
  • Provide information as required that is accurate and honest, with appropriate recommendations for action.
  • Identify opportunities for project improvement, and risks that should be avoided, in your dealing with individual projects.
  • Support the development of project management disciplines across the organization.

Your knowledge and experience:

  • Proven track record of collating and analysing data, then presenting information via formal reports and verbal updates.
  • Experience in similar PMO analyst role, with knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques.
  • Proven experience in supporting and challenging stakeholders across an organisation to deliver change projects.

Your skills:

  • Analysis and Reporting – you will be very analytical, able to compile data from a variety of sources, including project financials, and present it as meaningful and actionable information using Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Governance – you will support the governance of projects, ensuring standards are maintained, and project disciplines adhered to.
  • Planning – you will be a competent planner having used planning tools (MS Project, Excel, Visio, etc) and be able to compile your own plan and support the development of others’ plans.
  • Facilitating – you will be a good facilitator, bringing people and projects together to collaborate or problem solve.
