Amelco UK is looking to recruit a highly skilled candidate who can support our IT team (Sysadmins and DevOps). The right candidate will be able to build VMs, deploy and configure apps, and be integral in delivering business critical improvement projects. One of the key goals will be to improve process and drive efficiency within Amelco’s infrastructure department. The successful candidate will be forward thinking and open-source focused with a passion for technology and the continuous improvement of IT processes. Amelco is a technically exciting and fast-paced working environment with constantly changing priorities so you will need to manage your own workload in line with our Agile project delivery process.
Qualifications
- Good experience of building, configuring, deploying and troubleshooting Ubuntu Linux
- Good understanding of technologies such as VMware and Ansible
- Experience working with complex applications, systems or IT operations
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good bash/python and scripting skills
- Open-source mentality within a dynamic environment
Additional Information
- Experience of working within a DevOps environment is desirable but not necessary
- Knowledge of AWS, VMWare, Bamboo, GIT, Jenkins, Docker and NginX is also desirable but not necessary
