An established HVAC contractor is looking for an experienced Electrician to support its growing electrical division. The role combines electrical installation, inspection, testing and certification with fault finding, maintenance and electrical works associated with commercial HVAC systems. You will work on equipment including VRF/VRV systems, chillers, ventilation, MVHR and electrical controls, alongside general electrical installations across commercial, industrial and residential projects. The business is also expanding into Solar PV, EV charging and renewable technologies, offering opportunities to develop technical skills and progress into a supervisory position as the department grows. Requirements Fully qualified Electrician with relevant City & Guilds qualifications Minimum 2 years' electrical installation experience 18th Edition BS 7671 and C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing Competent in electrical testing, fault finding and certification Able to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics Experience with commercial electrical installations; HVAC electrical systems and controls advantageous Solar PV, EV charging or renewable energy experience desirable but not essential Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally Package Salary £40,000-£55,000 Overtime opportunities Company van Full-time employment Midlands-based candidate preferred UK-wide project coverage Holiday entitlement and company benefits Ongoing technical training and development Opportunity to expand into Solar PV, EV charging and renewable energy installations Long-term progression into electrical supervision or team leadership as the division develops Interested in hearing more?
