Your Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician at our Seaforth, Liverpool site. The main purpose of the role is to undertake maintenance duties under the direction of the Maintenance Manager within the multi-skilled maintenance team. Ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest standards in safety and efficiency, following Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental guidelines. This role will be part of a callout rota for out of normal working hours cover for maintenance and other site issues.
- To undertake and promote Safety & Health requirements in accordance with Company and Site procedures, programmes and targets.
- To work within Company and site quality and hygiene standards for food safety.
- To maximise efficiency and minimise production disruption and downtime.
- Fault finding on plant equipment with a view to resolving breakdowns resulting in production interruptions and issues.
- Contribute to solutions for electrical/engineering/production problems, implement modifications and improvements as required to maintain optimum plant performance.
- Involvement with projects and initiatives as directed by the maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
- Undertake call out duties as per requirements.
Your Profile
- Knowledge and experience of working with DSEAR and ATEX regulations.
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification. HNC or equivalent.
- Demonstrable, electrical & mechanical experience & knowledge in areas not covered by formal qualifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
