Job Purpose Summary
The Financial Reporting and Treasury Manager is accountable for the Treasury, Asset Accounting and Financial Reporting functions, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful financial information supported by a robust governance and control framework.
The role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, overseeing the Company's treasury and securitisation activities, managing the accounting of a fleet of approximately 3,000 assets, and ensuring all Group, statutory and intercompany reporting requirements are met.
As a member of the Finance Leadership Team, the role holder will lead and develop their team, drive continuous improvement, promote a strong control environment and provide meaningful financial insight to support decision-making.

- Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, motivate and develop the Treasury, Asset Accounting and Financial Reporting teams.
- Establish clear objectives, KPIs and performance expectations.

- Financial Reporting and Control
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring all reporting is accurate, timely and fit for purpose.
- Ensure the timely preparation of statutory financial statements and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Take ownership of balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and the overall financial control framework.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and Group reporting requirements.
- Manage the preparation, review and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and reporting deadlines.
- Oversee the corporation tax process, including the preparation and review of supporting schedules, tax computations and statutory disclosures.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisers and ensure tax matters are dealt with accurately and efficiently.
- Lead the annual external audit process, acting as the primary Finance contact for auditors and coordinating activities across the business.
- Ensure audit requests are managed effectively, information is provided accurately and deadlines are achieved.
- Drive the timely resolution of audit findings and control recommendations.
- Develop insightful financial reporting and analysis to support business and financial decision-making.
- Treasury and Funding
- Provide oversight of treasury operations, cash management and forecasting activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, funders and Group Treasury.
- Oversee the management and reporting of the Company's securitisation facility.
- Monitor facility performance, utilisation, compliance and future funding requirements.
- Ensure all securitisation reporting is accurate, timely and supported by robust controls and reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to optimise financing, liquidity and treasury processes.
- Asset Accounting
- Ensure robust governance and control over the Company's vehicle asset portfolio.
- Oversee the accurate accounting and reporting of vehicle additions, disposals, losses and transfers.
- Ensure alignment and reconciliation between operational records, asset registers, securitisation reporting and financial records.
- Maintain a strong focus on data accuracy, completeness and control.
- Support and guide the Treasury Accountant in maintaining an accurate daily record of the vehicle fleet.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvement, standardisation and automation across all areas of responsibility.
- Use data, KPI reporting and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, insight and control.
- Champion best practice and continuous improvement across Finance and the wider business.
- Encourage curiosity, challenge existing ways of working and drive sustainable improvements.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key contact for Group Finance, Group Treasury, banking partners, auditors, tax advisers and other external stakeholders.
- Support the Financial Controller in the delivery of strategic finance objectives.
- Contribute actively as a member of the Finance Leadership Team and promote strong financial governance across the business.

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
