The predicted salary is between 46688 - 57063 £ per year.
Commensurate with the position of your role within the organisation, you will be required to adopt a flexible approach to the hours worked and which may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties.
The basic contractual hours will be 37.5 hours per week, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour.

The Management Accountant plays a key role in supporting the FP&A Manager and wider leadership team by delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial information.
The role combines financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis to drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.
This position requires a technically strong accountant with excellent analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organisation.
- General Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and management information that provides meaningful insight into business performance.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by working closely with budget holders and departmental managers, challenging assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring forecasts reflect current business expectations.
- Provide financial analysis, KPI reporting, and commercial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making, helping stakeholders understand key performance drivers and improve profitability.
- Build effective relationships across the business, acting as a trusted finance partner by translating financial data into clear recommendations and supporting cost control and performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards, supporting internal and external audits and ensuring the integrity of financial information.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems, and reporting, helping to drive efficiency, consistency, and enhanced decision support.
- Support the FP&A Manager in building a high-performing FP&A function that provides meaningful commercial insight, enhances decision-making, and delivers proactive, forward-looking support to the wider business.

Essential
- Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA) ideally fully qualified but working toward qualification as a minimum.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assimilate information.
- Excellent relationship management, networking skills and team player.
- Drive for constant improvement and better ways of working.
- Strong Working knowledge of IFRS.
- Good all round Communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn and update to new systems
- Ability to handle and summarise large, complex data sets using Excel and/or Power BI
- Ability to build financial models and analyses using Excel and/or Power BI, and explain findings to Senior Management
- Ability to work with multiple data sets from different sources eg: M3 or similar Finance system, Sales Force
- Experience of financial planning ie. building a Budget/Forecast, sometimes with limited information, and managing information from non-finance stakeholders
- Business Partnering and Senior Stakeholder Engagement eg: Constructively challenging to understand cost/revenue drivers, trends, risks and opportunities, rather than taking data/information at face value
- Ability to manage expectations and workload whilst working with competing demands and tight deadlines

- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau, or similar applications
- Experience using Big Query, or using SQL to extract data from tables
