Job Description

Working within our Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, the Service Technician will perform maintenance duties to ensure productivity and output, equipment availability, health & safety compliance, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the top condition of various installations.
• Perform malfunction and maintenance work and carry out preventive and periodic maintenance in collaboration with colleagues.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical, and control technical faults.

What We Expect From You

• Possession of a City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or above in a maintenance mechanical / electrical discipline.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights.
• Experience with maintenance planning.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the business you will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Nice to Have

• Experience within an FMCG manufacturing or automated environment.
• Experience in training/coaching.
