UBTC operates the only commuter service on the Thames and occupies a distinct market position for tourist and visitor experiences by linking the majority of riverside attractions. The business is now excited to be adding an Exclusive Café Bar at Embankment Pier in an ideal location for servicing commuters, local offices & theatres.<\/span><\/span>

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/span><\/b> Requirements<\/h3>BAU REQUIREMENTS<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>Act as a role model and champion of our company values, assisting the operation to integrate them into local processes<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Assist in developing and maintaining effective teamwork across our diverse business<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Ensure that all relevant information is communicated speedily and accurately in a way that ensures that the information is received and easily understood<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Undergo specialist courses to enhance individual experience for working at private or corporate events <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable requests as requested by a member of the senior management team<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Contributing to a positive work environment <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div> <\/span><\/b><\/p>KEY SKILLS:<\/span><\/b><\/p>Essential<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>Previous, relevant working experience within a Customer / Food Service environment<\/span><\/span><\/li>Have a genuine desire and ability to work with the public in a front line, customer focused environment<\/span><\/span><\/li>Be committed to working to high standards and providing the highest level of visitor care<\/span><\/span><\/li>A team player with a flexible, positive and committed attitude to work<\/span><\/span><\/li>Ability to multi task in a very busy environment remaining organised and patient even when working under pressure<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Desirable<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>Food hygiene certificate – Level 2<\/span><\/span><\/li>Knowledge of the Thames and surrounding areas / attractions<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/span>
