An opportunity to lead Health, Safety and Environment across Germany for a growing international business operating within the power and critical infrastructure sector. The organisation delivers complex, high-risk projects and services for major clients and has an established EHS framework already in place. They are now seeking an experienced EHS Manager to provide leadership, consistency and operational support across German operations. This role is focused on embedding standards, supporting the business and driving a proactive safety culture, rather than rebuilding fundamentals. You will take ownership of EHS delivery across Germany, working closely with operational and service teams and reporting into a senior EHS Director with clear visibility and support.
Key responsibilities
- Own EHS delivery and performance across German operations
- Ensure consistent application of policies, standards and governance
- Support operational and service teams with practical EHS leadership
- Drive audits, inspections, risk assessments and performance reporting
- Lead incident investigations and continuous improvement activity
- Act as the EHS interface with external authorities, clients and auditors
About you
- Proven experience in an EHS role within power, critical systems, industrial or construction-led environments
- Strong understanding of German EHS legislation and regulatory requirements
- Calm, pragmatic and credible in operational settings
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and site-based teams
- Fluent English and comfortable operating in an international organisation
