Salary: £30,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + excellent benefits and flexi-time working.

An exciting opportunity to join a very well established, growing, people centred York business undergoing exciting change and development across its marketing and communications activities.

Main Duties

  • Design
    • Working as part of a team to create multi-channel campaigns that span all forms of media online and offline.
    • Working with the team in creative thinking and brainstorming sessions.
    • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for marketing material and websites, determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy within brand guidelines.
    • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for social media within brand guidelines.
    • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for magazines, mini magazines and brochures, determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy within brand guidelines.
    • Ensuring all creative work fits the brief given and achieves the target goals.
    • Delivering creative content of the highest quality.
    • Assistance across departments to produce high quality PowerPoint presentations in line with company branding, interactive where applicable, achieving both continuity and creativity in style.
    • Other design, as required.
  • Other Media
    • Creation of professionally edited short videos for use on social media platforms and website and award submissions etc.
    • Photography at events and team photos both on and off site.
    • Ability to create and edit audio copy strong enough for podcasts a bonus.
    • Other creative duties as required.
  • Personal skills
    • Strong design and photo-editing software skills (InDesign and Photoshop or equivalent).
    • Strong PowerPoint skills.
    • Natural eye for design and artwork and a strong portfolio of creative projects.
    • An impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas and execute with flair and professionalism.
    • High-level creative thinking and the confidence to use it.
    • Ability to work using own initiative and the motivation and desire to execute every job to the highest standard.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to share and present ideas within the department and at Director/Partner level.
    • Confidentiality and trustworthiness.

Education/Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent.

This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week).
