Description: My client is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to join their Payroll Bureau. This role offers an ambitious individual the opportunity to build on their existing experience by solely managing a portfolio of around 80 clients, running their weekly and monthly payroll.
Main Duties: The successful candidate will be self-managing whilst running their own clients’ payrolls and will have the ability to prepare and complete an entire payroll, whilst advising clients on any day-to-day issues. Excellent attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to organise and prioritise your workload so that deadlines are met, ensuring that clients are completely satisfied and helped with any queries or process-oriented questions.
Person Specification: The successful individual will have a minimum of 2 years experience within a payroll environment and have the desire and skills to pick information and new systems up quickly. The ability to set up PAYE Schemes, payroll journals, calculate SAYE and GAYE pension contributions and have an awareness of RTI is a key part of the role. Auto enrolment experience would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided. Candidates should be confident, enthusiastic and a team player.
