SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH & ADHD) Location: Bexley, South East London Pay: £90 - £100 per day Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary Start Date: September 2026 Salary is based on experience and qualifications. Higher rates apply to candidates with significant experience and/or qualifications. Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and ADHD? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bexley is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for pupils with SEMH and ADHD from September. The Role Youll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide both 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils regulate emotions, build confidence and engage positively in learning. Responsibilities include: • Supporting pupils with SEMH and ADHD across the primary age range. • Implementing behaviour support strategies and personalised learning plans. • Encouraging positive relationships and emotional wellbeing. • Assisting with classroom activities and differentiated learning. • Monitoring progress and communicating effectively with staff and parents. What Were Looking For • Experience supporting children with SEMH, ADHD or additional needs. • A calm, patient and consistent approach. • Strong behaviour management and communication skills. • Experience in UK schools is desirable. • A genuine passion for inclusive education.
