Relais & Châteaux at Thornbury Castle is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our Brigade of talented Chefs. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle, mentored by our exceptional Executive Chef, David William, creating truly memorable and impressive 5* dishes for our guests.
Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has almost completed a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces. Our food style is modern British using the best locally sourced produce from our kitchen garden and around the southwest. We operate 7 days a week, serving breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner, and Sunday lunch as well as the occasional wedding and functions.

A truly talented Chef with a professional approach, great passion and flair for the industry and food. Experience in breakfast and high-end restaurants. You will be responsible for the preparation and service of the breakfast section, supporting the team and helping colleagues. Bringing a calm, mature approach with a resilient nature that thrives under pressure. Natural ability as a chef with outstanding attention for detail. Dedicated, excellent team player with strong communication skills. Ability to work unsupervised and using own initiative and the ambition to succeed at the highest levels. Strictly follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.

Additional Information:
- Full time permanent position 40 hours per week (5 days a week)
- Salary £31,000 per annum
- An additional monthly share of service charge and tips
- 28-day holiday including bank holidays
