Teltonika is a global leader in Internet of Things (IoT), with over 25 years of innovation, operations in 27+ countries, and more than 2,500 employees worldwide. Teltonika's Telematics business unit creates easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective vehicle and asset management in such areas as logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the vehicle and asset tracking industry. Following our UK expansion in 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity to scale in a high-potential market. This role is pivotal to enabling Teltonika to grow our presence in the UK and Ireland.
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester, UK Head Office, Suite G1, Building 8, Exchange Quay, Salford, M5 3EJ.
In this role, you will:
- Take ownership of developing and growing a sector (e.g. Construction & Engineering) within the UK & Ireland, contributing to the company's overall growth strategy
- Identify, engage, and close high-value opportunities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound and strategic networking
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers
- Deliver consultative sales conversations
- Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions
- Create tailored commercial proposals and negotiate contracts
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure delivery of best-fit solutions
- Accurately manage pipeline and forecasting via our CRM
What we expect of you:
- Proven success in B2B business development / Technical Consulting
- Strong track record of winning new business and closing deals
- Strong connections and experience within the UK and/or Irish Construction and Engineering sectors
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Telematics / vehicle / asset tracking solutions - understanding how to connect moving assets to a management platform to support efficient public transportation operations
- Internet of Things (IoT) / connectivity - understanding how data from assets such as vehicles supports informed business decision-making
- Networking infrastructure - understanding the systems required to enable the transmission of data from assets to end users
Direct telematics or asset tracking experience is beneficial - but we welcome strong candidates from adjacent tech markets.
