We’re looking for an experienced Panel Technician / Panel Beater to join our busy accident repair centre in Derby.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled automotive professional with experience in panel beating, bodyshop repairs and accident damage repair who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles

• Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels

• Removing, fitting and aligning panels to manufacturer specifications

• Completing accident damage and bodyshop repairs to a consistently high standard

• Using modern panel repair techniques, tools and equipment

• Carrying out MIG/MAG welding where required

• Working to manufacturer repair methods and technical specifications

• Achieving agreed productivity and quality targets

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately

• Working closely with technicians, estimators and other members of the bodyshop team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Panel Technician, Panel Beater, Bodyshop Technician or Vehicle Panel Technician

• Experience within an automotive bodyshop, accident repair centre or vehicle repair environment

• Strong panel beating and vehicle body repair skills

• Competence in MIG/MAG welding and modern repair techniques

• ATA accreditation, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification is desirable

• Excellent attention to detail

• A strong focus on quality and workmanship

• Ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
