Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quant Trader to join our fast‑growing team in Greater London.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement quantitative trading strategies that optimise profitability while managing risk across our crypto exchange platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy algorithmic trading models for crypto assets, leveraging statistical, machine‑learning, and stochastic methods.
• Conduct rigorous back‑testing, performance analysis, and scenario simulations to validate strategy robustness.
• Monitor live trading performance, identify anomalies, and implement real‑time adjustments to improve execution efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, and compliance teams to ensure data quality, low‑latency infrastructure, and regulatory adherence.
• Design and maintain risk management frameworks, including position limits, exposure controls, and stress‑testing procedures.
• Stay abreast of market microstructure developments, regulatory changes, and emerging crypto products to inform strategy evolution.
• Provide detailed documentation and reporting of model assumptions, performance metrics, and risk assessments for internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quantitative trading, preferably within crypto, FX, equities, or related markets.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and stochastic calculus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java; experience with quantitative libraries (e. g., Num Py, pandas, scikit‑learn) is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to build and optimise high‑frequency, low‑latency trading systems.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a track record of delivering profitable, data‑driven strategies.
• Solid understanding of market microstructure, order‑book dynamics, and execution algorithms.
• Desired Experience & Skills
• Experience with crypto‑specific data sources, blockchain analytics, and on‑chain metrics.
• Familiarity with statistical learning, reinforcement learning, and other advanced machine‑learning techniques.
• Background in risk management, including Va R, stress testing, and tail‑risk controls.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional, fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to obtain any necessary regulatory approvals or clearances required for trading activities in the UK.
