About the Role –
- Salary - £38,055.69 inclusive of shift allowance
- 42 hours - Shift pattern of 3 on 3 off days and nights

As a Production Team Leader you will be part of a supportive team, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around, and show you the ropes. Your main tasks and duties will be:
- Leading a Production Team to ensure the effective running of the process function and/or production lines and associated systems/equipment, fulfilling the production plan requirements and demonstrating an audit ready production environment at all times.
- Driving the performance of the process function and/or operation of product equipment/machinery and packaging equipment/machinery including fault finding, changeovers, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities to maximise OEE performance.
- Auditing all monitoring systems required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and identifying and implementing corrective actions.
- Managing non-conformance processes and corrective action activities to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards.
- Leads departmental internal and external auditing activities, traceability exercises and product trials.
- Motivate and manage people activities to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
- Identify development areas relating to skills, behaviours and competencies and implementing development plans to enhance Standards within the team.
- Participation in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
- Working as a key member of the Production Leadership Team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
- Leading the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
- Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems.

About you –
For the role of a Production Team Leader we are looking for:
- Ensures compliant delivery of quality checks and documentation / quality IT system entries through team members.
- Root cause / solution delivery of identified Non-Conformance materials, packaging or finished goods.
- Ensure personal and team compliance with mandatory training requirements - plant / factory and role specific.
- Competent at leading and running process and/or production area to an agreed performance level to deliver required OEE output.
- Take responsibility for the daily production plan requirements and resource availability (team and materials) to ensure OEE and production targets are delivered to plan.
- Uses information to drive daily performance by setting / challenging objectives within the team.
- Closes works orders in a timely manner and investigates and where possible resolves any abnormal losses.
- Leads yield performance improvement and delivers corrective actions based on analysis.
